Whether it's a fully equipped wellness center, sauna complex, hotel with spa area, swimming pool, or therapy center, a snow room is more than just a place to cool off. As professional snow room installers, we provide comprehensive advice on the structural requirements and the associated possibilities. It all starts with a well-insulated room, which we can either customize to your liking, for example, to resemble a cave, or leave plain and reduce to the essentials. Beyond this basic requirement, the intended use is crucial, as it determines the climate control units and ice machines we custom-build and adapt to generate the cold or snow. Depending on the configuration, the climate control system and the ice/snow machine work together to fill the snow room with real white snow. The precise matching of the system and its performance is of utmost importance. An oversized or undersized system can lead to insufficient performance

This inevitably leads to problems. Snow chambers can be conveniently operated via freely configurable control panels and systems, allowing your own staff to use them without difficulty. The temperature of a snow chamber typically ranges from -2°C to -10°C, although the systems are designed for twice this range to ensure sufficient power reserves even at higher outside temperatures. Since cooling systems are always energy-intensive, we recommend a solar/energy recovery system for your wellness area. The necessary daily defrosting for hygiene reasons also makes this measure quite sensible. Besides simply cooling down, a snow chamber is also suitable for therapeutic purposes, the so-called cryochamber. However, minor adjustments to the system are required in this case, as cryochambers are usually significantly colder than -10°C. In any case, a snow chamber is a worthwhile and fantastic addition to your existing wellness facility, one that your visitors will remember for a long time.
