Nautiland Würzburg - Wellness facility construction

With the planning and modernization of the wellness area, we naturally also took on the planning and construction of the two saunas, the "Atrium Sauna" and the "Earth Sauna." Each sauna was uniquely designed by us according to the client's wishes. The atrium sauna we built looks very modern, bright, and inviting. The high-quality sauna bench slats and wood panels used are specially designed for sauna construction and its humid, high temperatures. The temperature in an atrium sauna is approximately 55°C to 65°C and is rather mild. A particularly important feature of an atrium sauna is the view through a large window, allowing you to gaze at Marienberg Fortress while enjoying the sauna together.

As the name suggests, an earth sauna is a sauna built into the ground, or at least partially sunken into it. This construction method not only retains heat better but also ensures that you won't be disturbed by anything or anyone during your sauna session, as the surrounding earth blocks out all noise. At temperatures of approximately 95°C to 105°C, you'll work up a good sweat, making the earth sauna one of the warmer types of sauna.

At approximately 80°C to 90°C, you can enjoy a relaxing sauna experience in our custom-built sauna at Nautiland, complete with a glass of wine and plenty of fun. Yes, you read that right: complimentary aperitifs are available for guests during their sauna session, and are part of the sauna program for those who wish. The sauna itself has a rustic design, clad in reclaimed wood. Intricate details and interplay of light make this wine-themed sauna/reclaimed wood sauna truly special and a wonderful experience.

The gas steam bath is very modern, designed and built with clean lines. The wall panels and seating are all sleek and streamlined, one might say. It has a somewhat futuristic feel, but is very pleasant. The panels are backlit depending on the time of day, which further enhances the beautiful designs. Changing the panels allows for a quick and easy transformation to a different theme, making it very flexible. The individually adjustable lighting allows for even more personalization of the atmosphere.

Outdoors, we were able to realize our own vision, installing several nozzles in the ground that release a fine mist of water vapor upwards towards visitors. What might seem simple requires sophisticated technology and extensive preparation of pipework, pump systems, atomizers, and sensors. But when the sun is shining and the temperatures are a pleasant 25° to 30°C, there's nothing better than enjoying a refreshing coolness in the fine mist.

All our control systems, which we install for saunas, steam rooms, or outdoor facilities, can be operated either centrally or in individual sections via displays and touchscreens. The software uses an active data connection to smaller sub-controllers such as PLCs, Wago systems, or others to control the actual circuits and large loads. The conversion from digital signal to analog control technology takes place within seconds. This allows even complex systems to be easily controlled by staff or even guests. Furthermore, the control systems can be operated remotely, making the system virtually independent of its location.
