Event steam bath plant construction

Near Stuttgart, surrounded by extensive forests, lies the town of Böblingen and its mineral spa. In this well-organized facility, you can relax in the natural thermal waters, rich in healing properties, or enjoy the invigorating heat of our spacious, custom-designed and built sauna area, complete with a variety of infusions. However, this blog post focuses on the event steam room we designed, built, and completed, which has reached entirely new dimensions. Working closely with the client, we had to address not only the sheer size of the steam room but also the numerous special technical requirements and entertainment systems.

Due to the project's size, we created physical 3D models, or digital 3D models, before any planning or construction work began. This allowed our client to visualize the facility beforehand and determine whether their requirements were feasible. The complex layout, the continuous heating system on every level (including underfloor heating, bench and seat heating, and the central and overhead evaporators with integrated lighting), presented particular challenges. The steam room's unique features, however, lie in the various illuminated panels and the overall lighting system.
