    Sauna & Washroom Plant Construction

Arborea Resorts - Panoramic sauna, Old wood sauna, Hammam, Steam bath

Hello and welcome! Today we'd like to show you a very special project that was planned and implemented in close collaboration with the architectural firm Geising + Böker. The project work described here involved the initial conceptual creation of graphic documents to generate ideas for a reclaimed wood sauna, a panoramic sauna, and a wet room/washroom.

The architectural firm Geising + Böker handled the initial sketching of the system, creating it in close consultation with us. This helped our client better visualize what the finished system would look like. This approach is very popular and offers many advantages, as it allows both you, the client, and us to see what is desired or what the overall design will look like before construction even begins.

    Panoramic sauna

From 2D sketch/drawing to finished system

Here you can see the concept requested by the client, which we created in collaboration with "Geising + Böker Architekten", and in comparison to the actual implementation.

    The panoramic sauna

Imagine yourself sitting in our panoramic sauna on a winter's day, the wind whistling past the window, and you relaxing in the pleasant warmth and soothing, dim lighting – what could be better for truly unwinding? But even in summer, with its sea view, a visit is highly recommended. The large window front of the panoramic sauna, which truly lives up to its name, is a real eye-catcher for guests! During the planning of the sauna complex, the client placed great importance on the technology, so we implemented peak load management to prevent excessive electricity consumption at once, and an energy recovery system that preheats the incoming fresh air instead of simply expelling it. This can result in permanent energy savings of 20-50%. In addition to these measures, the entire system is insulated to minimize heat loss.

    Wet room / Washroom

From 2D sketch/drawing to finished system

Here you can see the concept requested by the client, which we created in collaboration with "Geising + Böker Architekten", and in comparison to the actual implementation.

    Wet room / Washroom

A wet area is simply indispensable before, during, and after a sauna session. It serves as a place to cool down, wash off, or cool down afterward. A soap foam application gently and easily removes all traces of sweat, further enhancing hygiene. Such a wet room or adjacent wellness area doesn't require much: one or two pools for water, some seating, and a drain. Depending on the design, the facilities we construct are either solid or made from modular acrylic composite systems. The tiles we use are durable and extremely robust. Here, visitors can relax after their sauna session.

Old wood sauna / barn sauna

From 2D sketch/drawing to finished system

Here you can see the concept requested by the client, which we created in collaboration with "Geising + Böker Architekten", and in comparison to the actual implementation.

Old wood sauna / barn sauna

Here you see a somewhat unconventional reclaimed wood sauna with rustic yet modern elements, and as if that weren't enough, it even features a two-zone design. The upper section allows you, as the visitor, to choose your preferred temperature zone, as it's significantly warmer upstairs than downstairs. All this is achieved with just one heater – essentially two saunas in one – in this barn-style sauna. We've maintained the reclaimed wood look, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere on both the upper and lower levels. This sauna also incorporates peak load management, preventing excessive electricity consumption when multiple systems are activated simultaneously. Combined with excellent insulation and energy recovery through the capture and reuse of heat from the exhaust air, this technology offers immense added value and significant long-term cost savings.
