A massive heater produces temperatures of about 400°C to heat granite stones. By means of a special technique of pouring water on these stones – a method developed by FIRE+ICE – steam is produced that contains high concentrations of mineral substances and slowly fills the whole room. With the aid of air conditioning technique and a timing circuit, this process is repeated again and again. Thus, humidity and temperature are gradually increased.
